    The recipe your mother prepares in her latest video has me stumped: What is
    abonokakol? I've asked a few Ethiopian friends and they've never seen this
    either. And I see that others on your channel are asking, too.

    Is it sprouted beans, like we see in the video, or is there a part two
    coming? I can't understand the Amharic, of course – well, just the names of
    the beans.

    So can you tell us all more about it? And where does the word come from and what does it mean? What culture in Ethiopia originated this dish?

    Thanks for any help you can offer. I continue to enjoy your mother's cooking. I
    recently tried her ye'mitad shiro.

  3. The reason why it is impossible to sprout soybean specially in the US is that it is GMO(Genetically modified organisms). In easy term it means that soybean and sometimes wheat are not organically grown instead they are laboratory grown.
