Canadians Trying Ethiopian Food For The First Time ????
Once again we are getting out of our comfort zone by traveling straight to Ethiopia to try some new food and experience a new culture.
We visited an authentic Ethiopian Restaurant called Abyssinia Restaurant located in Nairobi, Kenya and I have to say, we truly enjoyed the experience.
Even if we did not try kifta, a famous Ethiopian dish we made our way around everything else with a large amount of injera the traditional Ethiopian bread. We even experience something called “gursha” which…

That was very exciting and respectful food review! So glad you guys liked it. ❤ Enjera has a very acquired taste but when it is eaten with all the delicious dishes, you kind of forget how sour it is 🙂 I wouldn’t have ordered the Kitfo either. I make my Kitfo cooked all the way through even here USA. I don’t want to get worms ????.

The injera might be a bit bitter but that bitterness is softened by the sweet stews. And that is deliberate. If the injera is as sweet as normal loaf, then it will be too sweat for taste. That is not good for people.

Ethiopoa is the origin place of coffee. Older people in ethiopia drink coffee with ethiopian spiced butter or salt.
