This is not Eritrean food but Ethiopia …The Shiro is from Tigray and the Tibs is Amhara Everything is belong to Ethiopia and Eritrea food is pasta and macaroni and Selata!

In Northern Ethiopia(Tigray) and Eritrea the flat bread is known in Tigrinya as Tayta. I don't know why Amharas are all in the comments calling it Injera or whatever.
The spicy beef curry is known as Kulwa in Northern Ethiopia(Tigray) and Eritrea. Only Amharas call it tibs or whatever.
It's called Zigni in Eritrea and Northern Ethiopia(Tigray), Amharas call it "doro wot " or whatever.
It's called Ga'at in Eritrea and Northern Ethiopia(Tigray), Amharas call it "genfo" or whatever.
Teff grows in Eritrea and Ethiopia and yet you have Amharas who have never step foot in Eritrea claiming that Teff does not grow in Eritrea. The food belongs to Eritreans and Northern Ethiopians(Tigrayans). Neftgnas and there ever ending jealousy.

Whats interesting to me is that North African/Berbers and Ethiopians/Eritreans have alot in common. The spiced tea, the tagines (Morrocan/Tunisian stews, harissa and berbere are similar red spicy sauces from both regions, and the clay pots used for tagines are very similar to Eritrean and Ethiopian vegetable and meat stews called wots or zigni that are also made in clay pots . The older women also used to tattoo their faces in both cultures. Many people mistake Berbers/Amazigh and Habeshas for being mixed with Arab but they are not. They are indigenous/native to Africa for thousands of years
